During our Inquiry time in Rongo-mā-tāne, we got to choose an insect to find out about. We joined groups and shared our wonderings about butterflies, snails, and worms. We shared our questions with other groups and listened to what they had brainstormed. My favorite part about this process in our inquiry was listening to other students’ ideas and sharing my own. I am really excited to find out more about my bug with the other members of my group.
This week our kaiako have been leading us through answering our wonderings of “Where does my insect live? What does the habitat of my insect look like?”.
